Corona Virus lockdown postponements:
examination rooms
Examination Rooms is an artist's response to discovering a fistful of photographs never seen before. Images of her mother in another country. With an unknown lover. In a new light. They made a new history both disconcerting and disquieting. This disquiet is reflected in the works on show where much is not quite what it seems. X-rays have become wax-rays, clothes are calcified, specimens are inanimate and photographs are written. The central figure is no longer here to ask. These works are the result of forensic examination and re-examination of the unknowable in a desire to fill in the gaps.

WHEN AN ARTIST MET A WRITER:
a socially-distanced, conversation, made in a government sanctioned, compliant kind of a way.
A collaboration with writer, Judith Warr-Arnold, as part of artwrite's Two Chairs project. See the whole piece here.
Post MA, there has been a tidying up to end all tidyings up.
